1. Overview

Tinnitus Relief App is designed with privacy as a core principle.
The App does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.
All preferences, settings, and sound selections remain strictly on your device.

2. Data We Do Not Collect

The App does not collect, store, or process:

  • Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, address)

  • Tinnitus-related information or health data

  • Audio recordings or microphone input

  • Location data

  • Device usage metrics

  • Advertising identifiers

  • Cookies or tracking technologies

  • Analytics data of any kind

The App does not integrate external analytics, advertising networks, or SDK trackers.

3. Local Device Storage Only

To function, the App stores minimal information locally on your device, such as:

  • Selected sounds and sound mixes

  • Tone and volume settings

  • Background play preferences

  • Timer preferences

This information stays on your device and is never transmitted.
Deleting or uninstalling the App removes all locally stored data.

4. Third-Party Services

The App relies on Apple and Google solely for:

  • Distribution

  • Installation

  • Updates

  • Automatic crash reports generated by the operating system

These are covered by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies.
8Foundations Pte Ltd does not access or control this information.

5. Payments

Premium features are purchased exclusively through:

  • Apple App Store, and

  • Google Play Store

We do not receive, process, or store your payment information.
All transactions follow each platform’s terms and refund policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years old.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Data Protection Officer (DPO)

In accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA),
8Foundations Pte Ltd has appointed a Data Protection Officer.

8. Your Rights

Since no personal data is collected or stored:

  • There is no data to access, correct, or delete.

  • You may erase all local settings by uninstalling the App.



9. Security

All settings and preferences remain on your device only.
You are responsible for ensuring your device is protected from unauthorized access.

10. Breach Notification

If a data breach involving personal data were ever to occur,
8Foundations Pte Ltd will notify:

  • The affected users, and

  • The Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC)

as required by Singapore’s PDPA.

(Currently, the App retains no personal data.)

11. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.
The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the active version.
